The first phase of the USAID-financed initiative supported JAB in conducting an active search for new business partners and private sector donors for the creation of public-private partnerships in support of entrepreneurship and the establishment of student-operated mini-enterprises. In 2006 the program was re-focused on the expansion and improvement of the quality of business and entrepreneurship education in Bulgarian schools. Junior Achievement Bulgaria worked with key governmental institutions in order to ensure support and implement changes in the subject curricula with a view of incorporating economic, business and entrepreneurship education and training.
