Partners Bulgaria Foundation with support and assistance from USAID designed and implemented from 2000 to 2007 a comprehensive program to build sustainable structures to promote inter-ethnic and inter-sectoral cooperation in multi-ethnic locations, facilitate ethnic conciliation, and increase the effectiveness of minority groups and those working with them to improve practical and ideological conditions within multi-ethnic communities.

The main legacy of the Program at the community level is its enduring message about the importance of working in diverse communities, recognizing integration as equal participation, and understanding that respecting the rights and values of all ethnic groups depends on all sectors and their ability to interact in making their community a better place.
