Tax Program: The program provided technical assistance in the form of training and guidance to the Bulgarian Tax Direcorate in numerous specific operational areas. The program aimed at improving the efficency and effectiveness of the tax administration to one of total self-sufficiency. The advisors helped the government establish a unified National Revenue Agency, improved tax administration and management, and supported the development of a professional workforce in the Agency.
