The Parliamentary Internship Program aimed to improve the quality of Bulgarian legislation and to broaden public participation in the legislative process. Over the life of the program 220 students worked as volunteer legislative assistants completing independent research on more than one hundred draft laws and amendments during three Bulgarian parliaments.
