USAID assistance has helped the Bulgarian people achieve more transparent and responsive institutions, a more dynamic civil society, a stronger economy with more jobs, and a country governed by rule of law.

America’s commitment to Bulgaria is lasting: Our legacy projects will continue to support Bulgaria’s progress toward shared goals even after Bulgaria graduates from USAID assistance in 2008.
